Empowering community

Love Ukraine

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to empower individuals facing substance use disorder and homelessness by offering compassionate support. We offer access to recovery programs and housing resources. We are dedicated to promoting healing, building resilience, and guiding people toward healthier, more fulfilling lives.

We began our work in December 2023 with just two people and a simple, grassroots vision: to meet the urgent needs saw in our community. Starting with a boots-on-the-ground outreach approach, we committed ourselves to walking alongside individuals experiencing homelessness and recovery challenges. From the very beginning, our focus has been person-centered meeting people where they are, listening to stories, and offering support with dignity and compassion. What started small has grown into a movement of hope, grounded in the belief that every person deserves stability, care, and the chance to rebuild their life. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

How we help

We meet people where they are, offering compassion, resources, and guidance to those experiencing homelessness and individuals facing substance use disorder. Through direct outreach, recovery coaching, and sober living scholarships, we provide practical support that helps people take their next steps toward stability. Our team works within Cape Cod Hospital and Falmouth Hospital as recovery specialists providing access to treatment. Our team also connects individuals with essential items, financial resources, and personalized case management, ensuring no one has to walk their journey alone. By combining advocacy, community partnerships, and hands-on support, we empower people to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.

TESTIMONIAL

October 9th, 2025

“Going through a new recovery can be difficult. You face different challenges in your lifestyle, well, trying to develop new skillsets, healthy habits, routines, and remove certain character defects that you had well as active addiction. One of the challenges that gets in the way of working on those things is not having the financial independence to support living costs, groceries, transportation, etc.

I was going through a transition period in my life where I felt as if I couldn’t get off my feet for a few hours to focus on my career path because I was always running around looking for work to do in order to pay for my living costs. I was losing clear headspace and getting restless. I was then referred to Hopeful Outreach seeking help for my living costs, and they responded within 24 hours of when I sent out an email, with how they came to help me. They were able to help with the rent at my sober living home, and it benefited me to take time to look deeper into my career development and future. This organization has all my gratitude for what they have done.

I would like to thank Amanda Jacob and the Hopeful Outreach organization for helping me with my sober living rent cost and giving me the support I needed during this transition in my life. Organizations like these inspire me to give back once I am in a position to do. -Deon C.

Give the gift of a fresh start. Your donation provides sober living scholarships for those committed to lasting recovery.
